Fun WhatsApp Math Picture Riddle: Find the Missing Number

In the picture, you will see that some numbers are represented by fruits.

Solve and find the value of each color fruit and then find the value of the missing number.

Let us consider the following;

Red Apple = R

Green Apple = G &

Yellow apple = Y

So we can re-write the equations as;

R + R + R = 90

R + 2G + 2G = 230

Y + 2G + R = 210

G – R + Y = ??

From the 1st equation we can write;

3R = 90

Therefore R = 30

From 2nd equation we can write;

R + 4G = 230

Substituting value of R

30 + 4G = 230

4G = 200

G = 50

From 3rd equation;

Y + 2G + R = 210

Substituting value of R and G;

Y + 2 x 50 + 30 = 210

Y + 130 = 210

Y = 80.

The 4th equation is;

G – R + Y = ??

Substituting value of R, G & Y;

50 – 30 + 80 = 100

Therefore answer;

G – R + Y = 100
