Tough Numbers Riddle: If; 7 x 6 = 1 Then; 3 x 5 = ??

This is a tough one.

Look at the equations and then find the value of the missing number.

If;

7 x 6 = 1

1 x 2 = 2

5 x 4 = 2

2 x 8 = 2

3 x 3 = 2

Then;

3 x 5 = ??

Answer:

Logic: just find the number of vowels in the last digit and consonants alternatively after multiplying the numbers on the left side!!

ie.,
7 x 6 = 42
Last digit after multiplying is 2 so no of vowels. In TWO IS 1.
So,7 x 6= 1.

Similarly,
1 x 2 = 2 (TWO)
Now no of consonants in it – 2.

5 x 4 = 20
Last digit – 0 ( ZERO)
No of vowels – 2.

2 x 8 = 16
Last digit – 6(SIX)
No of consonants – 2.

3 x 3 = 9
Last digit – 9(NINE)
No of vowels – 2

9 x 2 = 18
Last digit – 8(EIGHT)
No of consonants – 3

Therefore we can find;
3 x 5 = 15
Last digit – 5(FIVE)
No of vowels – 2.
So, answer is ‘2’.

  1. My answer is much simplier: multiply two numbers. If result is below 40 then answer is 2, if over 40 then answer is 1. That is 3×5=15 < 40, so answer is 2.
