# Logical Riddle: Which Bag has the Cash?

Challenge your brain with this logical riddle.

There are 3 bags on a table.

One of the bag contains cash and the other two are empty.

The bags are labelled with printed messages.

The messages on the respective bags are;

The first bag says: “The Cash is not here”

The second bag says: “The cash is not here”

The third bag says: “The cash is in the second bag”

One of these messages is true and the other two are false.

Which bag has the cash?

We know that 1 statement is true and the other 2 false.

Based on this information lets see which statement is true by testing each scenario.

Case 1: Lets consider that the cash is in bag 1, then;

Statement 1: False

Statement 2: True.

Statement 3:  False

Case 2: Now assume that the cash is in bag 2, then;

Statement 1: True

Statement 2: False.

Statement 3:  True.

Case 3: Now lets consider that the cash to be in bag 3.

Statement 1: True

Statement 2: True.

Statement 3:  False.

Only in case of case 1 only 1 statement is true and the other 2 false.

Hence we can say that the cash is in bag 1 and statement 2 is right.
