Fun WhatsApp Math Picture Riddle: Find the Missing Number

Let us consider the following;

Red Apple = R

Green Apple = G &

Yellow apple = Y

So we can re-write the equations as;

R + R + R = 90

R + 2G + 2G = 230

Y + 2G + R = 210

G – R + Y = ??

From the 1st equation we can write;

3R = 90

Therefore R = 30

From 2nd equation we can write;

R + 4G = 230

Substituting value of R

30 + 4G = 230

4G = 200

G = 50

From 3rd equation;

Y + 2G + R = 210

Substituting value of R and G;

Y + 2 x 50 + 30 = 210

Y + 130 = 210

Y = 80.

The 4th equation is;

G – R + Y = ??

Substituting value of R, G & Y;

50 – 30 + 80 = 100

Therefore answer;

G – R + Y = 100
