In the picture below you will see certain shapes representing certain numbers.
You will be able to find the value of each object and once you do that find the value of the missing number.
Hint: You would need good observation skills to crack the last equation.
If you get the correct answer, share it with your friends on WhatsApp, Facebook and other social networking sites.
This is a very tricky riddle where you will have to think out of the box to solve it.
Let’s solve the equations first to get the value of the different shapes in the riddle.
Let’s rewrite the first equation as;
P + P + P = 45
Solving this we get;
3P = 45;
Hence;
P = 15
Let’s rewrite the second equation as;
C + C + P = 23
Solving this we get;
2C + P = 23
Substituting the value of P;
2C + 15 = 23
2C = 8
C = 4
Let’s rewrite the third equation as;
C + 3S + 3S = 10
substituting value of C we get;
4 + 6S = 10
6S = 6
Hence;
S = 1
Now the last equation has an unknown component which is similar to polygons.
So we count the numbers of sides which is: 6 + 5 + 4 = 15 (Hexagon +Pentagon + Rectangle)
So since the square is missing the value of 4 can be reduced from this;
Which will be 6 + 5 = 11 = PN.
So Let’s rewrite the last equation as;
2S + C + C x PN = ?
substituting the values we have got;
2 (1) + 4 + 4 x 11 = 2 + 4 + 44 = 50
Answer = 50
