Which is again very interesting to solve, so here’s how it goes;

I mean, I’ve been looking at that picture for ages, and the drop hasn’t moved at all, so it’s not going to fill anything.

It is definitely 8. You see the way to cup 3 is blocked as is the way to cup 6. Since the levels of the the spouts on each cup won’t fill the cup before the water flows out of the cup and the hole in cup 7 is at the bottom it will be cup 8

The 8th cup. I thought at first it was the 4th but realized that was incorrect after further details came to light. I didn’t see the blocks.

It depends on the water flow. If it’s flowing so heavily that the pipe to 2 cannot drain off enough, then 1 will fill the fastest. On the other hand, if the flow is slow enough, the water will flow into 2, then to 7, and finally into 8, which would fill first. 3, 4, 5 & 6 are all blocked off, and no water can flow into them. The only way 6 could fill would be for 2 to overflow, which would make 2 full first, but, as earlier stated, if it’s flowing that heavily, 1 would fill first. So, 1 if heavy flow, 8 if a slow enough flow.

8 IS THE ONLY ONE THAT WILL FILL UP. ALL OF THE OTHERS ARE BLOCKED OR HAVE A LEAK.
No 8 will only fill fully as 1 bottom hole is blocked so 3 4 5 cannot be filled 2 bottom hole is blocked so 6 cannot be filled and 7 has a hole in the bottom to fill 8
