In the picture you will see clovers in different colors representing certain numbers.
If you get the correct answer, share it with your friends on WhatsApp, Facebook and other social networking sites.
To represent the equations in text let us name the clovers as follows;
green clover = GC
Blue Clover = BC &
Red Clover = RC.
So we can write the equations as;
GC + GC + GC = 12
GC + GC + BC = 16
BC x RC = 40 &
GC x RC = ??
From the 1st equation we get;
3GC = 12
Therefore;
GC = 4
From 2nd equation we get;
2GC + BC = 16
Substituting value of GC we have;
2 x 4 + BC = 16
8 + BC = 16
Therefore;
BC = 8
From the 3rd equation we get;
BC x RC = 40
Substituting value of BC we have;
8 x RC = 40
Therefore;
RC = 5
So to find the missing number in the last equation;
GC x RC = ??
Substituting value of GC & RC we get;
4 x 5 = 20
Answer = 20
