Leave your answer in the comments section.

Usain timed himself and found out that if he wore a white outfit he ran 20 miles in 80 minutes, but when he wore a dark outfit, he ran 20 miles in one hour and twenty minutes.

What does this mean for his next race?

  1. 80 minutes is the same as 1 hour and 20 minutes, so the color of the two outfits have no impact to his performance, assuming the outfits are identical otherwise, and the courses and conditions are identical, too.

[Of course, if this problem is referring to Usain Bolt, then it is unrealistic, as he is not a long distance runner. If fact, his sprint events are the 100m, 200m, and the 4x100m relay. He does not participate in the 400m sprint. He cannot sustain an average 4-minute mile for 20 miles. Sprinters and long-distance runners are two different breeds of athletes.]
