Here’s a riddle in which the man does just that but you have to guess how?
In a futuristic fruit store there was a smart weighing scale which was designed to weigh only apples and cherries. As they were priced the same.
Other fruits like water melons or grapes had different machines as they were expensive.
A man successfully bought water melons at the price of apples.
How did he fool the weighing scale?
(The riddle is set in a 2050 and all the fruit prices have changed.)
