Being a social animal the African lion is more than a super predator, it’s a hyper predator, and most would probably believe it is the ultimate predator. In the African plains forest and savannas the African elephant usually lives without rivals, its far stronger than a rhino or hippo and is up to 40 times bigger than a lion.
