We have get to the same answer by three different methods
Method 1:
1st row: From left to right;
3 + 8 = 11
11 + 7 = 18
2nd row: Down (from right to left);
18 + 6 = 24
24 + 5 = 29
29 + 4 = 33
3rd row: Down (left to right)
33 + 3 = 36
36 + 2 = 38
38 + 1 = 39
Method 2:
Addition of first and third number + 1 divided by 2 = middle no.
So;
18 + 3 + 1 = 22 :: 22/2 = 11
33 + 24 + 1 = 58 :: 58/2 = 29
36 + 39 + 1 = 76 :: 76/2 = 38
Method 3:
3, 11, 18 Diff + 8, + 7 decrease by -1
33,29,? Diff -4,?
36, 38, 39 Diff +2, +1 decrease by -1
So ? is -4 decrease by -1 equals -5
Therefore the answer is 29-5=24
So the right answer is 24
