If you look at the grid of numbers you will notice that all the rows and columns when added give the sum of 15.

For example;

9 + 1 + 5 =15;
4 + 8 + 3 = 15;
9 + 4 + 2 = 15 &
5 + 3 + 7 = 15

So we can find the missing number as;

2 + ? + 7 = 15
? + 9 = 15

Therefore;

? = 15 – 9 = 6

Answer = 6
