Math Riddles: Fill the Empty Boxes With The Missing Numbers

in the picture below you will see some empty boxes and numbers.

Find the value of the missing numbers and fill the boxes with them;

Let’s call the missing numbers as A, B, C & D.

Let’s write out the equations as follows;

Since;

A + B = 8 = B + D

we can say;

A = D.

Substituting the value of A + D in (3) we get;

5. C + D = 13

Adding this with equation (2) we get.

C + D = 13
C – D = 6
2C = 19

Therefore;

C = 9.5

So substituting the value of C in (5) we get;

9.5 + D = 13

Therefore;

D = 3.5

Since A = D we have;

A = 3.5.

Putting value of A in (1) we get;

3.5 + B = 8

Therefore;

B = 4.5

So the missing numbers are as shown in the picture below;
