Riddle: How Did The Philosopher Set The Time
Solve this riddle.
One absentminded ancient philosopher forgot to wind up his only clock in the house.
He had no radio, TV, telephone, internet, or any other means for telling time.
So he traveled on foot to his friend’s place few miles down the straight desert road.
He stayed at his friend’s house for the night and when he came back home, he knew how to set his clock.

He sets time of his clock.then walks to his friends house.
Notes time.stays there for night.while leaving notes time.walks to his house and notes time, subtract time stayed at friends house from time at house clock.divide by 2.
This gives time taken for one way walk.add this to exact time noted when he leaves his friends house.
This is the time at present at which he can adjust his watch.
