This farmer sold all of his ducks to 4 different customers.
You know the following;
- Each customer purchased half of the remaining ducks and a half duck more.
- Each one purchased only alive full ducks (not cut in any way)
- The last customer bought just one duck
Can you find out the number of ducks the farmer sold that day??

Explanation:
The first person bought half of the 15 ducks, which is 7½ ducks, and another ½ duck.
So he bought 8 ducks in total and Jack is left with 7 ducks.
The second person bought half of the remaining 7 ducks, which is 3½ ducks, and another ½ duck.
So he bought 4 ducks and Jack is left with 3 ducks.
The last person bought half of the remaining 3 ducks, which is 1½ ducks, and another ½ duck.
So the last person bought 2 ducks.
That leaves 1 duck which is bought by the last customer.
