Note: This must be done in your head only. Do NOT use paper and pencil or a calculator. Try it.

Take 1000 and add 40 to it. Now add another 1000. Now add 30. Add another 1000. Now add 20. Now add another 1000. Now add 10. What is the total?

Riddle No. 3:

If
2+6+7=24
3+4+4=40
8+2+8=73
Then
7+3+9=??

Answer to Riddle No. 1:

The boy says I Love You (The number of letters in each word.)


The girl replies Yes. (The letter number in the alphabetical order)

In alphabetical order Y is the 25th letter and E is 5th and S is the 19th. Hence 25519 is YES

Answer to Riddle No. 2:

Answer: 4100

Easy way to do this without a calculator is to add up all the 1000s first. You will see there are 4 of them so that’s 4000. Then add up the other numbers, which are 40+30+20+10 = 100

So 4000+100=4100

Answer to Riddle No. 3:

After some calculations you will find out that all the results are formed by this particular forumula;

a*b*c-(2*(c-a)*b)+(c-a-1)*(c-b-1)*(2c-2b-1)

So 2+6+7=24
2*6*7-(2*(7-2)*6))+((7-6-1)*(7-2-1)(7-6+7-7)
=84-60-0=24

3+4+4=40
3*4*4-(2*(4-3)*4)+(4-4-1)*(4-3-1)(4-4+4-5)
=48-8=40

8+2+8=73
8*2*8-(2*(8-8)*2)+(8-8-1)*(8-2-1)(8-2-1+8-2)
128+0-55=73

7+3+9=??

7*3*9-(2*(9-7)*3)+(9-3-1)*(9-7-1)(9-3+9-4)
=232

Therefore,

7+3+9=232
